Summer Nutrition Challenge

Let’s get ready for our swimsuits together! What better way is there to celebrate summer than to feel our best during the hottest months of the year? This summer, we are going to be hosting a different approach to a nutrition challenge. Instead of everyone against everyone, we will be splitting up into two teams: Team Shellece and Team Ashton. Each teammate will be held responsible for key components to a healthy lifestyle, such as sleep, water intake, diet, workouts, as well as rest days and working on things you aren’t spectacular at! Each category will have a point allotment for each day. If you complete the task, you get the points. It’s as simple as that. Each week, we will post the updated totals from each team so you’ll always know exactly where you stand!

The winning team will be strictly based on point totals. We WILL be taking before and after measurements, but this is strictly for your own personal use. We want you to stay motivated, and what better way than to SEE your progress?

We will assign teammates after everyone signs up. This is not to pick and choose as coaches, but to split everyone up fairly so the competition stays even. That being said, if you have a team you’d like to request, we will try and honor your requests as well.

We will be having a meeting on Tuesday, July 7th at 7:15 pm, directly following the last CrossFit class of the day. Come prepared to find out more about our diet options, the point system, and your team! We will be taking your before pictures and measurements this night, and your sign up fee will be due this night as well. I know this will be a day AFTER the challenge starts, but just be prepared to eat clean on Monday and Tuesday and log your food, water intake, and sleep for those two days. We will have a graph for you to take to track everything at the meeting and you will need to provide your own food log. These logs will be required to be turned in every Friday so that the totals can be added up for the week.
