2020 Is YOUR Year- Nutrition Challenge Details

THIS NUTRITION CHALLENGE WILL BE SIMILAR TO LAST YEAR’S CHALLENGE.  THIS YEAR, WE WILL HAVE 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE WINNERS THAT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE FOLLOWING:  TOTAL NUMBER OF POINTS EARNED, BEFORE/AFTER PHOTOS, AND TOTAL BODY FAT PERCENTAGE LOST. WE WILL HAVE DAILY “CHALLENGES” THAT WILL ACCUMULATE YOU POINTS, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR THAT WILL ENTER YOU INTO A WEEKLY DRAWING FOR EXTRA PRIZES THROUGHOUT THE CHALLENGE AND ACCUMULATE TO HELP YOU GET CLOSER TO WINNING THE CHALLENGE.

*     YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE A MEAL PLAN THAT WILL WORK BEST FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE.  WE WILL GO OVER THESE IN DEPTH TONIGHT, BUT YOU WILL CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AND STICK TO IT FOR THE 8 WEEKS OF THE CHALLENGE: MACRO COUNTING, KETO, PALEO, OR 800G OF FRUITS/VEGETABLES.

*     YOU WILL USE THE WODIFY RISE APP TO TRACK ALL OF YOUR DAILY TASKS! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THIS AND HAVE IT AVAILABLE ON YOUR PHONE! YOU’LL BE BESTIES BY THE TIME WE’RE DONE!

*     WE WILL GIVE YOU A CALENDAR WITH A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DAILY CHALLENGES AHEAD OF TIME SO THAT YOU CAN PLAN AHEAD.  SOME OF THEM ARE PRETTY EASY, AND A FEW OF THEM WILL REQUIRE A LITTLE PREPARATION AHEAD OF TIME. WE WANT TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS, SO WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED ON WHAT’S TO COME!

*WE HAVE CREATED A FACEBOOK GROUP FOR THE CHALLENGE THAT WILL BE INTEGRATED INTO THE CHALLENGE. SEARCH “CFA FRESH BEGINNINGS” ON FACEBOOK AND REQUEST TO JOIN!  IF YOU WERE IN THE CHALLENGE LAST YEAR, YOU’RE ALREADY IN THIS GROUP, MOST LIKELY. IF YOU’RE NEW, JOIN US OVER THERE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO POST IN OUR GROUP ONCE IN AWHILE TO COUNT YOUR DAILY TASK POINTS.

Here are the basic details for the Challenge:

*You choose your meal plan.  You’ll earn points for sticking to whichever plan you choose if you were adherent for the full week.

*Every day there will be a different “challenge”.  Check your calendars ahead of time so that you can be prepared if there’s one you need to go to the store for!

*You will be required to go to Complete Nutrition to get a body scan before Jan 11th. We will do an “after” scan at the end of the challenge, too, but for now, just remember you need to get one this week sometime! The address is 1474 N Main Street in Logan- right next to Jimmy Johns in North Logan!

*Before and After Pictures and Measurements.  This will be done in the app as well, but if you want to be included in the second prize picked by the coaches, PLEASE SAVE THESE PHOTOS TO YOUR PHONE.  You will be required to send them in to the coaches at the end of the challenge.

*Accountability.  Part of this challenge is points earned by completing challenges.  We trust that every single one of you are trying to make changes for the better. We all want to look better, feel better, BE BETTER.  Please make sure that you are being honest with us and yourself. If the challenge is asking you to do something, DO IT! There will be specific guidelines to some of the activities we are asking you to do that will be clearly outlined in the task.  Don’t try and find a loophole to get out of these! You aren’t going to get better by complaining about or trying to get around these challenges. It may be uncomfortable, and you may not love the challenge, but it has a purpose! It’s only a week at a time, and we BELIEVE IN YOU! You can do this.
